Co-Curricular and Extra-curricular Activities

There are plenty of amenities and events that are organised during the year and there are between one or two events taking place each month of the academic year. All national and state events are celebrated with pomp and ceremony. There are also, Science exhibitions,  fests, Debate competitions, Quizzes, Drawing Competitions, clubs and Cultural events. There are several organised events which encourage healthy competition among the children. However, care is taken to ensure that children aren’t put under undue stress and sufficient time is also allocate to academic work.

In addition, there are specific outings and events organised for each age group.

These Co-curricular events give the school a special flavour and encourage a love of learning by the children.

During the academic year, an excursion is organised for the older children (Class 9 and above) of the school. Excursions are organised each year and these trips are organised with the assistance of third parties that run specific educational programmes and trips for schools.

Prefectorial System

The prefectorial system forms the backbone of life in any private school. The initiatives and capabilities of individual students are continuously watched and the students are elected at class and at school level. The students’ affairs are managed by this Council, headed by the School Captain and governed by the School Prefect, a master of the school. The class teachers and co-ordinators assist the School Prefect to manage the discipline and school functioning.

The Students’ Council is encouraged to manage their affairs independently, under the guidance of the staff members.

A child would normally join us in Nursery and remain with us till Class X when they would pass out of the School with a certificate issued by the CISCE board.

Each student of the school is a member of one of the four houses of the school. The House system is an integral part of private schools and helps co-ordinate various activities of the school and leads and builds up an esprit de corps and camaraderie among students.

Regular Inter-House competitions are held throughout the year in various co-curricular activities which foster a healthy competitive spirit. Each House vies with one another to keep the house flag aloft and with the inter-House trophy at the end of the year.
